Do I have to lodge any history as part of a Pre-Existing Condition Assessment (PECA)?

No, you don't have to provide any additional history beyond the names of the vets your pet has visited for a pre-existing condition assessment. However, if you do have the records available, sending them can help us get a clearer, more complete picture of your pet’s health history more quickly.

Feel free to include any of the following documents with your request:

  • Vaccination records
  • Desexing certificates
  • Adoption paperwork
  • Rescue organisation documents
  • Veterinary care records if your pet has travelled from abroad Including these documents can speed up the assessment process.
