My puppy is only young, surely there are limited risks associated with this age?

It’s great that you’re thinking ahead and have chosen to insure your pet early. By completing a pre-existing condition assessment when you start your policy, you’ll have a clear understanding of what’s covered right from the beginning. It also means that future claims will be processed faster since we’ll already have your pet’s medical history on file. Quicker assessments mean faster payouts, giving you peace of mind when you need it most.

Whilst it’s recommended to complete a pre-existing condition assessment early, it’s not mandatory. Just keep in mind that when you submit your first claim, we’ll need to start gathering your pet’s medical history at that point. The timeframe for this process can vary depending on the number of vets involved.
