Do you cover congenital and hereditary conditions?

Yes, we cover both congenital and hereditary conditions as long as there are no clinical signs of these conditions affecting your pet's health until after the exclusion periods on your policy have passed.

A congenital or hereditary condition is one that your pet is predisposed to since birth, rather than one that develops from an illness or accidental injury.

Certain breeds can be predisposed to specific health conditions as they age, but these conditions may not affect your pet’s health until later in life.
