My pet was given to me by someone else. What documentation do I need to take out a policy?

If you adopted your pet from someone else, we only need a copy of the medical history from when you took ownership to help process future claims. If you haven’t taken your pet to the vet yet, your pet’s medical history would start from your next vet visit. You don’t need to provide any medical or veterinary documentation to apply for a new pet insurance policy.
