How many plans do you offer?

We offer three plans: Petsy Pet Protection Plus: For dogs and cats starting a new policy between 1 year and less than 9 years old. Puppy Protection Plus: For puppies starting a new policy before they turn 1 year old. Kitten Protection Plus: For kittens starting a new policy before they turn 1 year old. 

All plans include the same great coverage, but exclusion periods are a bit different for Puppy Protection Plus and Kitten Protection Plus plans. Note that coverage doesn't end when your pet turns 9 years old; 9 years is just the maximum age for starting a new policy. 

You can customise your policy with these options: 

- Benefit Percentage: 80% or 90% 

- Annual Limit: $5,000, $10,000, or $25,000 (with a bonus for pets under 1 year old of up to $30,000) 

- Annual Excess: $0, $150, $200, $300, or $500 

- Vet Consultation Fees: Include or exclude 

- Optional Extras for Pets Under 3 Years: Dental illness, behavioural conditions, and specialised therapies 

Starting early has its perks. If you insure your pet between 6 weeks and 6 months of age, we'll increase your annual limit by 20% for the life of the policy, at no extra cost. For pets starting between 6 months and 1 year of age, we’ll top up the annual limit by 10% at no extra cost.
