An exclusion period is the time when your pet isn't covered after you activate a new policy or increase your coverage. It starts from your pet's First Date of Cover and varies depending on the condition.

Here are the exclusion periods:

- 1 day for Injury (except Specified Conditions)

- 14 days for Illness (except Specified Conditions)

- 6 months for Specified Conditions

- 6 months for Optional Behavioural Problems

For Optional Dental Illness:

- 14 days for pets under 1 year old

- 6 months for pets 1 year old and over

You can find the specific exclusion periods on your Certificate of Insurance.
